The 2010 LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour was held on March 27, 2010. An exciting new addition was the use of four historic Gillespie County rural schools as rest stops. What better way to honor Lyndon B. Johnson, the thirty-sixth President of the United States, widely acknowledged as the "Education President". His progressive education bills and many of his "Great Society" legislation programs were designed in the tranquility of his ranch. |
